Interior Color Trends for 2021

Interior color trends are rocking the real estate world today. And if you’re seeking an Ontario realtor who knows the ropes around the thing, then you want to pay us a visit today. Did you know that representatives of esteemed companies in architecture, design, and big-pain manufacturing grace exclusive conferences every year?

Such gatherings usually occur in fashion- and design-focused cities, including Paris, New York, and Milan. In fact, a topic in one of the recent conferences revolved around color trends, and we thought we’d share it with you. Get aboard with us!

Hazelnut

One of the relaxation colors, Hazelnut is a good fit for your living room. This darker shade of beige checks the right boxes when it comes to “the perfect background color.” And, needless to say, whatever (anything) you’re going to put in a hazelnut-colored room will be brighter than the surrounding ambiance.

Warm Gray

Talk of neutral colors without gray and you’ll get that once-in-a-while odd look! But with all the serenity it commands, grey leads the pack when it comes to neutral colors. And, thankfully, it kind of acts as a savior for those folks who don’t fancy brighter tones. Gray shades tend to match minimalist and modern styles, too, especially in the bedrooms.

French Vanilla

Yellow is associated with warmth, and its shades are no exception. French Vanilla is one of those, and it helps make spaces bigger, making it a good candidate for the living room. Shades of yellow work great for a room (any room) without windows, too, for the same reason. And the fact they are neutral colors helps save you time (and money); no need to reshuffle or switch the furniture and decor in the room.

Gray-Green

When it comes to interior design, green has been leading the pack as far color choices go — since 2018. And while you might want to combine other shades with green, we recommend you do it with gray. Considering its calming effect, grey compliments green perfectly. The gray-green combo boasts a refreshing tone, too, making it one of the unmatched bedroom colors of 2021.

Mint

Like hazelnut, green is one of the relaxation colors, as it’s associated with nature. And mint is no exception. This unique shade of green works great for bedrooms, living rooms, and even family rooms. It’s good for human physiology, too. Yes, it’s a mixture of blue, yellow, and green, and itn (mint) mimics key “traits” from all these colors. Blue, for instance, symbolizes reliability and trust. Yellow, meanwhile, makes you feel at ease as it emits happiness and positivity. When green comes in, you couldn’t get a more perfect cocktail. And, did you know, mint doesn’t disappoint when paired with red accents?

Red to Purple

From red (all the way) to purple, the color spectrum undoubtedly takes the place of any pink shades — as far as interior color trends of 2021 go! It doesn’t matter if these two colors have contrasting feelings and meanings to them, but that’s where the beauty of their bonding sits.

From (colors) red to purple, the spectrum radiates with energy, making these colors a good fit for green-gray (or just gray) walls.
